The Grand Hotel Zermatterhof, with its 148 beds, has
recently completed extensive renovations that include all areas
of our 110-year-old deluxe hotel. We offer very comfortable single
and double rooms, elegant junior suites and the largest variety
of deluxe suites available in Zermatt.
All rooms are, of course, equipped with a direct-dial telephone,
radio, cable television, minibar and video on request; some suites
have their own fireplace and jacuzzi bath. A large number of rooms
have a balcony and face the spectacular Matterhorn. |

Restaurant Prato Borni :
Start the day on a high note with our generous breakfast
buffet. The variety presented in the buffet leaves no desire unfulfilled:
the choice ranges from various fruit juices to müesli, yoghurt,
salmon and cold meat, and, of course, a morning cup of coffee -
everything is available.
Have dinner in the sophisticated surroundings of the Prato Borni.
The variety in the numerous courses offers something for every taste,
and the influence of international and French cuisine can be felt
throughout. Particular high points include the sumptuous "Buffet
Royal", which is served every Friday evening, and the various
speciality buffets and gala dinners. If a guest orders a filet of
beef, or maybe one of the delicious desserts, he has the pleasure
of seeing his meat carved or his dessert flambéed at his
table, a rare experience these days. In a word, a meal in the Prato
Borni is a real pleasure for the senses.
Restaurant Le Jardin :
During the summer season enjoy the garden restaurant Le Jardin.
In the shade of century old trees, we serve Swiss cheese raclette,
grilled steaks, crisp salads and fine desserts, as well as a daily
menu. |
