Stavanger known as "The town of wooden houses near Pulpit
Rock" is a unique blend of charm, history and breathtaking
surroundings.
It lies in the south-western part of Norway where long and sandy
North Sea beaches meet the deep fjords and high mountains. The city
center surrounding the picturesque harbour is a delightful mixture
of old and new. Narrow streets with their attractive shops, restaurants,
cafes and galleries wind from the colourful market place and the
old cathedral making Stavanger an unforgettable experience. |
