| The most northerly of the world's capital cities, Reykjavík,
with its leisurely pace has a rustic charm, all of its own. Some
say it is a scaled-down city, others a scaled-up village. It is
certainly a city of contrasts from the bustling harbour and fishing
port with its fine restaurants and evocative smells, to the attractions
of the nearby Kringlan shopping mall. Meanwhile, the old city
centre houses a dazzling variety of restaurants, shops, museums
and art galleries. |
