The Beech Hill Hotel offers its guests four types of room accommodation,
Classic, Select, Four Poster and Premier. The choice of rooms enable
us to meet the variations in accommodation which our guests seek,
while offering to all guests the high standard of comfort, features
and facilities that one would expect from one of the leading hotels
in the Lake District.
All 58 rooms at the Hotel enjoy private facilities, colour TV, direct
dial telephone, and tea and coffee making facilities.
Classic Rooms
The Beech Hill's Classic Rooms have en-suite facilities and are
individually decorated to the same high standard as our Select Rooms.
Each Classic Room has colour television and refreshments and provides
a partial view of the Lake.
Select Rooms
These are generally the largest of our bedrooms, offering uninterrupted
views of the Lake and a combination of the following features: Half
Tester or King Size beds, spa bath, balcony or private terraced
areas. All rooms also contain extra toiletries and refreshments.
Four Poster Rooms
Our Four Poster Rooms are of equal stature to our Select Rooms,
however they have the added feature of a hand-crafted Four Poster
bed with cascading drapery.
The Premier Rooms
The Premier Rooms are the finest bedrooms at The Beech Hill and
ideal for those special occasions. In addition to the quality furnishings
which are available in all our rooms, each Premier Room has a four-poster
bed, corner bath with spa and separate shower. Guests in the Premier
Rooms will also be able to enjoy fresh flowers, bath robes and mineral
water. |
We have spent many years perfecting the way in which we prepare
and present our food for guests at The Beech Hill. After all, the
quality of food provided is essential to your complete enjoyment
during the time you spend with us.
In the mornings, that means a choice of full English breakfast including
delicious local produce and specialities, or a light and fresh continental
breakfast, or maybe some kippers or scrambled eggs and salmon.

At lunch, we serve an enticing bistro-style menu that is perfect
for keeping you going in the middle of the day. You can enjoy it
in our comfortable lounge and bar or sit outside on our terrace
and watch the activity on the lake down in the valley.
Evenings are when the restaurant really comes into its own. It becomes
"The Gallery Restaurant", enjoyed by hotel guests and
local residents alike as a venue unique for the quality of its food
and wines, the calm service and the outstanding views across the
hills and lake.
Today, the Hotel holds the AA Rosette Award in recognition of the
high standards that have been achieved by our kitchen and restaurant
teams.
In the winter of 2000, the Hotel completely refurbished its swimming
pool and surrounding areas and now provides an idyllic, climate
and temperature controlled environment for guests to relax in while
staying at the Hotel.
The pool itself is kept at a constant xx degrees, which is ideal
for a refreshing dip or for length-swimming if you prefer, and the
room temperature is ideal for relaxing by the poolside in one of
the sun-loungers.
Supplementing the pool is a sauna and individual male and female
changing areas. |
